Finally the day had come that Magi would drive home to its new destination, near Frankfurt. It proved to be the longest trip that it probably ever made....later more.
First we had to get our Swiss export license plate through the local "Strassenverkehrsamt" in Chur, district of Graubunden. They open at 07.30 and we were right in time. You only need a big bag of Swiss Francs, ID, and a confirmation that the vehicle is safe and according to regulations (brakes, lights, no damages). Did you took off the blue lights for the fire brigade?......uhh.....yes of course! ok, sign here then.....
This took half an hour, and off we went to collect our Magi in Zizers, this is near Chur. First works we did was taking off the blue lights.....and the sirens...
Last check of the lights, brake air pressure and, fixing of the batteries and off we went!
